Released for T-Mobile, the Samsung Memoir combines an 8.0-megapixel camera with a Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and five shooting modes. It offers a full touch-screen with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface for a point-and-shoot digital camera feel. Consumers can use the virtual QWERTY keypad to send text messages, chat and email. For handsfree use, the Memoir has stereo Bluetooth technology, speakerphone and voice-activated dialing. An integrated music and video player offers entertainment. The Memoir has a full HTML browser and is capable of high-speed data transfer on T-Mobile’s 3G network. Widgets on the home screen allow users to customize the phone for one-touch access to favorite functions and online photo sharing sites such as flickr, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket and Snapfish.

The Sony Ericsson S302i is a slim and stylish handset with a premium exterior and high-gloss finish. It integrates a 2.0-megapixel camera with Photo Light and Photo Fix, useful to help get the shots right. With up to 20MB of internal memory, users have enough room for an entire photo album with additional storage on Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. They can transfer photos via USB, Bluetooth or Memory Stick Micro.
The Sony Ericsson C905a offers a complete digital camera experience on a phone. The integrated 8.1-megapixel camera with Xenon flash also provides functions such as face detection auto-focus, smart contrast and image stabilizer. Built-in GPS lets photographers geo-tag photos. Images are stored on the included 2GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card. A USB adaptor included in-box offers easy transfer of photos to-and-from a PC. Viewers can show their photos to friends on the 2.4-inch scratch-resistant mineral glass display.

The camera key and the active lens cover are specifically integrated and placed so users can stabilize the 3.2-megapixel camera and take pictures with one hand. The C702a provides GPS and a range of location-based imaging services that add a new dimension to taking and managing photos. When consumers snap a photo, information about where they are in the world is automatically added to the image. So they can always share photos according to where the shots were taken. The integrated DVB-H receiver offers live broadcast TV with an automatically updating program guide with a ‘kickstand’ on the back cover that allows for handsfree viewing.
